Infection Control

The safety of our patients and team members is a top priority at Sunrise Dental Studio in Pasadena, Maryland. Dr. Afshin Nateghi and our entire team follow strict infection control protocols that meet or exceed all federal, state, and local guidelines. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe environment so you can feel confident about the care you receive at our office.

Our infection control procedures are designed to prevent the transmission of harmful pathogens and to protect your oral and overall health during every visit. We continuously review and update our protocols to reflect the latest recommendations from organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Our infection control measures include:

  • Sterilization of all reusable instruments and equipment between patients using hospital-grade autoclaves
  • Use of single-use disposable items wherever possible to eliminate cross-contamination
  • Thorough hand hygiene procedures for all team members before and after every patient interaction
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves, and protective eyewear for all clinical staff
  • Comprehensive surface disinfection of all treatment areas, chairs, and countertops between appointments
  • HEPA air filtration and proper ventilation systems throughout the office

We believe that transparency about our safety practices helps build trust with our patients. If you have any questions about how we keep our office clean and safe, please do not hesitate to ask. You are also welcome to review our protocols during your first visit or at any time during your care with us.
